Where young leaders are made.
Giving young people the self-knowledge, courage and skills to lead — in their own lives, their schools and their communities.
Five days that change the trajectory.
Residential & immersive
Five days and four nights on a boarding-school campus over the holidays — fully hosted, with everything taken care of so they can focus on growing.
Lived, not lectured
Leadership you do, not sit through — adventure, real teamwork and guided reflection, led by people they'll remember.
Small & selective
Small groups, recognised facilitators and a beautiful setting. Every detail considered, from the first day to the closing ceremony.
Four outcomes. One keystone.
Confidence, Character, Capability and Belonging. Each is a stone in the arch — and locked together, they form the keystone: the young leader they become.
Confidence
A grounded belief in what they can do.
Character
Integrity and self-awareness that lasts.
Capability
Practical leadership skills they can use.
Belonging
A community and network that endures.
Locked together, they create the keystone — the leader they become.
Four pillars hold it up
Self-Leadership
Knowing yourself, your values and how you show up.
Teamwork
Communication, trust and getting things done together.
Resilience
Courage and composure when things get hard.
Purpose
Leading for something bigger than yourself.
Five days, one arc.
Connect & Belong
Arrive, meet the group, and build the trust everything else stands on.
Model the Way
Discover your values and what kind of leader you want to be.
Enable & Challenge
Stretch outdoors and in — resilience, problem-solving, real teamwork.
Inspire a Vision
The Keystone Project: design something that matters, together.
Encourage the Heart
Present, celebrate, and carry it home.
The shape of a day
Full, but never rushed — every day moves from intention, to adventure, to reflection.
More than a memory.
Keystone is built to count — for who they become, and on paper too.
A certificate that means something
Every graduate earns a Keystone Certificate of Completion — and their own engraved keystone to keep.
A real curriculum
Built on a recognised leadership framework — structured, sequenced and assessed, not a loose set of activities.
Credits that carry forward
We're securing accreditation so the programme carries recognised NQF credits — strengthening a CV, a university or a President's Award application.
Accreditation in progress — we'll confirm exact credits as each pathway is finalised.
Safety is the foundation.
Before anything else, your child is safe and known. We hold ourselves to the standards we'd want for our own.
Simple. And firmly held.
Every scholar and family agrees to this before arrival. It keeps Keystone safe, kind and focused.
We hold this firmly. Behaviour that puts others at risk can mean being sent home, at the family's cost. We say so plainly because everyone's safety and growth depend on it.
People they'll remember.
Leaders worth listening to
Recognised voices from sport, business and the outdoors — the people who anchor each programme.
Educators who get teens
Professional experiential educators and accredited coaches who run the daily curriculum.
Close, caring guidance
Vetted young adults — including returning alumni — for pastoral care throughout the week.

Questions, answered.
Who is Keystone for?
Teenagers aged 13–17 who are ready to grow — whether they're already leading or just starting to find their feet. No experience needed, only willingness to take part.
Is it safe?
Safety comes first. Every adult is vetted under the Children's Act with police clearance, we run high staff ratios with a designated safeguarding lead and a medic on site, and every scholar and parent signs a clear code of conduct.
What's included in the fee?
Everything for the five days: accommodation, full catering, every activity and session, materials, the Keystone Project, the closing ceremony, your engraved keystone and alumni membership. No hidden extras.
Where is it held?
On a boarding-school campus in the Western Cape over the school holidays — a secure setting with full facilities. Exact venue is confirmed with each programme.
Do you offer bursaries?
Yes. Sponsored places are available for promising young people who need financial support. Tick the bursary option on your application and we'll guide you through the next steps.
What if our plans change?
We'll always try to transfer your place to another programme where we can. Our full booking and refund terms are shared with your application.
